Meet Bethany!
Hello, everyone! My name is Bethany Davidson. I am a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) who specializes in Pelvic Health Rehabilitation. I have a specialist certification called a Pelvic Rehabilitation Practitioner Certification (PRPC), which means that I have done the research, have been through enough training, took & passed an exam which distinguishes me as an expert in my field. I am starting this blog to share my experiences and knowledge about pelvic health rehabilitation. My goal is to empower you, whether you’re a patient looking for some more information about your diagnosis (or lack thereof), a student hoping to go into the pelvic rehab field, or another physical therapist looking for community.
So you can get to know me a bit better, here are 10 facts about me:
I am 28 years old
I grew up on the South Texas coast in Corpus Christi
I moved to Dallas at the end of 2021
I have a long-term partner, Ryan, and we have a dog, Penny
I would love to live in London
My happy place is at the lake (preferably in the Texas Hill Country)
I am lactose intolerant, but I love ice cream (sigh…)
Green is my favorite color
Reading is my favorite hobby (although I have been known to start, and never master, many many hobbies)
I recently started my own pelvic health physical therapy practice - Restore Pelvic Rehabilitation & Wellness (which you probably know if you’re reading this blog)
I will keep this introduction quite short, but I am happy to be on this journey with you all. I am excited for the challenge of starting my own physical therapy practice. I am even more excited to be sharing information with you about pelvic health. I am very passionate about my field, and my hope is that you get some useful information from this blog. If you have any questions or suggestions for blog post subjects, email me at restorepelvicrehab@gmail.com :)
